• Environmental Protection Fee: USD 15 is levied on all visitors departing from Palau Islands.Place of payment: airport of departure.

- Holders of a Palau Islands Birth Certificate, showing that the person was born in Palau Islands

• Cholera and Yellow Fever immunizations are required for those arriving from infected areas.
• Medical facilities and standards are available in the major cities but limited in more outlying regions of the country. Medical evacuation may be required in the event of more serious injuries and travellers to the country are strongly urged to obtain full health and travel insurance prior to beginning their journey.
